Congratulations to Angela B Gonzalez, one of our Dream Achievers who recently graduated from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. Angela is originally from Alice, TX and has been a Dream Achiever with the Dream Come True Foundation – South Texas since 2020. She has been offered a permanent substitute position with the Alice Independent School District. She says, “this is a particularly exciting opportunity for me because it has been a dream of mine to help mold young minds, in my hometown no less”! She plans on acquiring her emergency teaching certificate to further pursue her career as an educator. Her hope is to not only help students navigate their way through testing, but perhaps to open their minds to therapeutic writing and maybe someday sponsor a youth writers’ group for all young writers to express themselves in a safe and supportive environment.
