Adolfo is ending a long journey having recently graduated from Texas A&M University Kingsville with a Bachelor of Science Degree in civil engineering. Arriving from Mexico just six years ago and speaking very little English, Adolfo was encouraged by his parents to pursue an education and a successful career in the United States. Adolfo attended Victoria College in 2015 and transferred to Texas A&M University-Kingsville in the fall of 2018. Adolfo applied with the Dream Come True Foundation in 2020. His mentor, Celanese engineer Sixto Almazan, was truly the perfect match for Adolfo coming from a very similar background. According to Sixto, he felt like he was able to guide Adolfo in areas of personal finance, establishing credit, employment searches, and evaluating opportunities. Adolfo recently accepted a job with Johnson Mirmiran & Thompson out of San Antonio. Despite already having a job, Adolfo will continue being a Dream Achiever as we help him with his application for United States citizenship.
