Apply To Become A Dream Achiever

The Dream Come True Foundation – South Texas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides assistance to individuals and families who are “on the edge of success” but need a bit of help to achieve their dreams of an education or financial stability.  We provide in-kind assistance, mentoring, and financial support to individuals and families who are committed to moving forward in their lives.

The program is open to individuals, families and students that are citizens or legal residents of the United States of America in Kleberg, Jim Wells, Brooks and Kenedy Counties.  The Dream Come True Foundation does not discriminate based on age, gender, religion, sexual orientation or ethnicity.  There is no age limit or family size limit.  The recipient-or the family they live with-must have achieved significant milestones to achieve stability and success but still need help to achieve their dreams.  We are not a scholarship program, although we may provide some tuition support.  Recipients are expected to be free from substance abuse/illegal drugs.  Dream Come True does not provide resources to support or begin businesses.  The successful candidate’s Dream will result in employment that moves them out of poverty to financial independence.

While we encourage applications at any time, our two specific deadline dates are May 15th and October 1st.  Applicants are encouraged to apply early so we have ample time to conduct a brief phone interview and collect other material such as unofficial transcripts and references.

If you live or are a student in Kleberg, Jim Wells, Brooks, or Kenedy Counties, and are on the edge of success, but need assistance, apply today by completing an application using the Google Form below.  If you wish to receive a paper application by mail, email us at dctfst@gmail.com

The Dream Come True Foundation Program Services will contact you by phone in order to process your application. If selected to continue, you will be contacted for an interview by the Selection Committee. Candidates who receive a favorable evaluation from the Selection Committee will be interviewed by the full Board of the Dream Come True Foundation-South Texas.

We are also open to recommendations for candidates from other individuals, nonprofits, and agencies. In addition, we have relationships with nonprofits, colleges and universities to identify potential Dream Achievers.

A reference is also required to fill out a Candidate Reference form on the candidate's behalf.
