Ivanna has experienced many significant challenges in her life. Born in Rio Bravo, Texas, Ivanna graduated in the top 10 percent of her high school class while working throughout her high school years. Ivanna is currently a full-time student at Texas A&M University-Kingsville’s Veterinary Technician program where she also works part-time in the college work-study program. Ivanna applied to the Dream Come True Foundation because as she put it, “Any emotional, moral, and financial support from this foundation will be beneficial to me.” Ivanna officially became a Dream Achiever in April 2021 and her mentor, Rosie Trevino, is excited to provide her with the support and guidance she is seeking. Ivanna is slated to graduate with her Bachelors in the spring of 2022. Her ultimate goal is to continue her education, obtain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and open up her very own clinic one day.
