Towards the end of High School, Julio was determined to be the first in his family to go to college. Presently Julio attends Texas A&M University-Kingsville majoring in Range and Wildlife Management with a minor in Plant and Soil Science. Julio has kept up excellent grades despite attending school full time while working as many as two jobs. He is most proud of being accepted into the USDA’s Natural Resource Conservation Service two summer internship program and has completed his first internship last summer helping landowners and ag producers with technical assistance. Julio wanted to become a Dream Achiever because “a good support system like the mentors with Dream Come True Foundation could really help push me and encourage me to open new doors and give me that impactful guidance I need to reach my goal of graduating from college.” Julio states his ultimate goal is to start his career as soon as possible and also assist his brother.
